Chicka, Chicka Boom BOOM! :)

Having been a toddler teacher for seven years, I very quickly learned what my favorite children’s books were. As well as what my favorite themes for lessons were. Among them, besides the obvious one of space!, was absolutely the alphabet! There are literally so many directions you can go with the alphabet. You can do the overarching alphabet, where you just use random and different objects or animals for each letter. Or, my personal favorite, you can pick a specific topic!However, when you’re like me, it makes it difficult to pick just one specific topic. So, I have a few favorite go tos: Space, dinosaurs, fruits, vegetables, animals, occupations, emotions, sports, birds…different things like that. When you’re teaching your child at home, the fun part is you can adjust it to your child’s favorites. Again, being that my son’s personality is 1000% me, he has a list of a million favorites as well. Anyway! The entire point of this post! Here is a list of the ABC books that we have in our own library and ones we’ve found at our city library.
